The Deserted Road
The deserted road that no one takes,
Often weeps when its heart aches.

On other people travel with god speed,
While deserted waits even for a steed.

The other road has traffic & horn's chant.,
The deserted one is calm like a saint.

Even on night the other road is filled with light,
The day travel on deserted is a plight.

The other has grown business along,
The deserted waits for a tourist too long.

The other road is smooth as a nymph's skin,
The deserted has holes unlike its kin.

The other road enjoys traffic sublime,
The deserted finds it hard to kill time.

The other is escorted by trees on its banks,
The deserted just runs alone & blank.

The other runs with river for sometime,
The deserted has only arid mountains to climb.

The deserted road that no one takes,
Often weeps when its heart aches.
